Welcome to my blog!
Before I go on, I should introduce myself. I'm an American military officer living in Korea. I'm a bachelor and I live by myself. And I've never cooked before. I am the stereotypical bachelor. I like to eat but I am not a sophisticated eater. What can I make? Cereal. Microwavable dinners (this is a problem since I don't have a microwave). Sandwiches. Rice. That's about it.
So, over the course of this blog's life, I hope to document my various culinary adventures- not only as I teach myself (hopefully) how to cook but as I also explore Korean cuisine.
Hopefully this will motivate myself to become a better cook and take pleasure in the foibles that come along with teaching myself something brand new and indulge my own inclinations to write in a humorous way.
I hope you enjoy the ride. It will certainly be interesting. If not necessarily tasty.
